Today governors voted in unanimous Peter Munya as the new Chairman of Council of Governance.
He is deputised by Kwale governor, and is entitled to run the devolution on the right way and to increase pace as said by outgoing Chairman Hon Isaac Ruto governor of Bomet County.
Peter Munya who is 46 year old, a lawyer and Meru County governor has been fighting against the ban of miraa from UK market.
The forthcoming financial year, Hon Peter Munya will ensure that devolution takes the right route.
He said that he will ensure that all resources will be allocated, to defend all matters of devolution.
